Vehicle Laptop Hydraulic Mounts (VLHM)

With the evolution of wireless technology, many fleets, large and small are quickly converting their field vehicles into virtual home offices to work from, complete with laptop computers, printers, faxes, GPS, etc.

The evolution of mounting equipment for new wireless technology has not been as progressive and remains somewhat antiquated. They have not been designed for the wireless age and many are not ergonomic or user friendly.

From client requests, ROSSBRO Engineering Ltd. began designing a user friendly mounting unit several years ago. After significant R&D, testing, field trial and client feedback, we are now manufacturing a unique automatic laptop driver adjustable mount, called the (Vehicle Laptop Hydraulic Mount- VLHM ).

The VLHM is designed to be operated either by the driver or accompanying passenger, a one hand quick release operation. The user simply pulls on a handle lever and then positions the laptop to the desired angle and location. Simply releasing the handle mechanism, the VLHM locks in place automatically, with no manual adjustments to unlock and lock. All this within seconds, easily and safely.

The VLHM is designed for most popular docking stations and laptops, including Panasonic Toughbook, Itronix, or the Gamber Johnson Notepads. We also manufacture custom components to install most wireless equipment with supplied specifications or visits from our trained North American distributors.
